When it comes to air quality and vapor detection, our modules are sensitive, accurate and economical.

First, we use our platforms and gas sensor technologies to perform feasibility studies. Then we leverage the results to develop custom applications. Working to your specific requirements, we adapt our platforms and write the signal evaluation algorithms needed to achieve the final product design. Here are a few of the applications we’ve developed for indoor air quality, automotive air intake, flammable vapor and hydrogen detection:

Poor Indoor Air Quality in homes and commercial buildings adversely affects occupants' health, productivity and comfort. AppliedSensor's micro-machined metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) sensor technology in the AQ module is a sensitive, low-cost solution for detecting a broad range of molecules that contribute to poor indoor air quality. Vehicle occupants encounter high levels of pollution in urban environments when crossing major intersections, sitting in heavy traffic, passing through congested areas or tunnels, or following high-polluting vehicles. AppliedSensor’s micro-machined metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) technology is the basis for an Automotive Air Intake System adopted by a major manufacturer. (Read more)

To support the new applications for hydrogen, AppliedSensor developed Hydrogen Gas Modules that monitor hydrogen fuel-cell efficiency, hydrogen gas leaks and hydrogen exhaust in hydrogen-powered vehicles. (Read more)
